The Southeast Alaska Surgery Center has been providing diagnostic and therapeutic out-patient care in Juneau since 2010.
We are located at 3200 Hospital Drive on the ground floor of the same building as Edward Jones.

Dr. Marco N Wen, MDDr. Wen is a board-certified spine physiatrist (a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation). His specialty is using non-surgical interventions to diagnosis and treat spine conditions via minimally invasive procedures and medical management options.

Dr. John P Bursell, MDDr. Bursell is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in Sports Medicine. He serves at the Medical Director for the Southeast Alaska Surgery Center, and has practiced medicine in Juneau since 1996. Dr. Bursell provides comprehensive management of non-operative musculoskeletal disorders, ranging from sports-related injuries to degenerative diseases. Dr. Bursell is a competitive endurance athlete, and co-founder of the Juneau Aukeman Sprint Triathlon.
